I love lesser-known characters in the Book of Mormon. One of of my favorites is the servant of Helaman who stops an assassination plot and kills Kishkumen, one of the baddest bad guys in the Book of Mormon.
We don’t know a lot about the Servant of Helaman, but that didn’t stop my son Levi from making a REALLY FUN video game about him. This game, designed for people ages 10+ is in the style of the Pokemon or Final Fantasy video games made in the 1990s. You have the opportunity to be the Servant of Helaman as you embark on a series of important quests that will lead you to Kishkumen. I loved video games as a kid and would have been right up my alley.

Levi created this game when he was thirteen years old (here’s a newspaper article about the process). He was selling the game on Amazon, but as he heads out on his mission, he’s making it available for free (see below link).
Download the Servant of Helaman. UPDATE: There is a bug and this game glitches right before the ending…so if you play it, just know you might not be able to finish it.
Note: this game is only playable on a Windows computer. You’ll need to unzip the file. There is an instruction file you can read. To play the game double click on the icon that says “game.”
If you’d like to thank Levi by making a donation to his mission fund, you can do so via Venmo: @Levi-Hilton-1. If you’d like to send him a thank you note, he can be reached at levi@levihilton.com
See a trailer for the game. And don’t forget to check out the sequel The Servant of Teancum.
